Our client is a boutique, family-run aged care facility situated in a highly sought-after inner-city location, offering convenience, accessibility, and a strong sense of community. This role is ideally suited to an experienced Facility Manager within the aged care sector who is passionate about leadership and quality care. The successful applicant must be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
You will be responsible for the overall management of the facility, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.
You will be well supported by an experienced executive team based offsite, along with a diligent and capable onsite team. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role within a small facility where you can truly make an impact.
Approximately $130,000 per annum + superannuation (depending on experience)
Oversee the day-to-day management of the facility
Lead, manage, and mentor clinical and non-clinical staff
Assess, coordinate, and monitor residents’ individual care needs
Ensure high standards of clinical governance, aligned with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
Manage staff rostering, performance, grievances, and compliance with training requirements
Provide management support to the onsite Administration Manager
Ensure all staff adhere to organisational policies and procedures
Liaise with residents and families to uphold residents’ rights and resolve concerns
Maintain compliance with WHS policies, ensuring a safe environment for residents and staff
Promote person-centred care that respects residents’ values, preferences, and individuality
Oversee documentation in line with policies and legislative requirements
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Lead accreditation preparation and ensure ongoing compliance with all Aged Care Quality Standards
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC assessments
Support the professional development of team members
Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Proven experience in residential aged care leadership (Facility Manager / Residential Care Manager)
Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, accreditation, and clinical governance
Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills
